Kind of funny how they call it Pony “Express”

That was the name of an old mail service from the 19th century. Incidentally, there’s another Pony Express at Steamboat, and that one’s a proper high speed quad.

If they upgraded this to an HSQ and extended it to the top of Super Gauge it would be a good reliever for Super Gauge.

It would be more practical to just run a Pony Express high speed quad up Iron Horse’s lift line. Or build an Iron Horse Express and keep the Pony Express double as is.

What I think Winter Park should do is add more mobility on Mary Jane. And there needs a replacement for both pony and iron horse lifts.

Btw extending Pony Express to the top can work but RIP the original spot of the top terminal.

Iron Horse deserves to have a detachable quad chair due that the lift is already above pony express.

Remove both lifts and have the bottom start where pony is now then have a mid station at the top of pony then have it go up to iron horse

Now that I think about it, it’d be more practical to replace Iron Horse, remove Pony Express, and redesignate the upper portion of Arrowhead Loop as a blue run (Lower Arrowhead Loop is designated as a blue from the top of Pony Express).

I love seeing this thing run at full capacity.

This lift is a thrilling ride. The chairs swing coming out of the terminals then immediately pass over arrowhead loop pretty high up.

There master plan includes replacing both Pony Express and Iron Horse with a high speed Six and an angled mid station!!
