Red – Canyon, AB

This is the original lift at Canyon and the only T-Bar Murray-Latta built.
A tower with M-Latta sheaves.
The bottom terminal used to be a vault drive but was converted to overhead in the 2020s.
Lower station overview.
In the summer a track is installed and this lift hauls mountain coaster carts with riders.
Middle section of the lift line.
Half towers.
View back down.
Split tower.
The final two towers.
Top station with counterweight.
Ski under top station.
Side view of the bottom station.
Light side flyover.
Another view of the split tower.
View down the track.
Unloading area at tower 10.

    I recognised those sheaves straightaway. I didn’t know had M-L built a t-bar, though.

I think M-Latta built a T-Bar at Crystal Mountain WA too, where the current Gold Hills chair is now.
