According to the Martock Facebook page, they lift is still inspected and can be operational. The reason why they don’t run it, is because it creates too much congestion on the trails. I find this hard to believe, since all lifts were operational for decades.

Does anyone know why one of the T bars isn’t running? Are there any plans to invest in a new lift?

I think they should relocate the t-bar elsewhere on the mountain and open new terrain.
