Red – Red Mountain, BC

This 1971 Mueller services its own mountain on the skier’s right side of Red Mountain Resort.
The bottom terminal has the drive and tensioning.

    Here are a bunch of photos of the 1947 single chair that predated this lift (credit – Rossland Museum).

    Looks like a top-drive, bottom tension lift. The bottom bull wheel also looks like it was angled downward. All wooden lattice towers. Very unique lift for sure. It also looks like the bottom terminal may have been replaced before the lift was ultimately replaced.
