      Don’t blame it on them. Don’t underestimate what leaving a vintage lift with little available parts left without maintenance for 5 years can do to it. It was most likely not in salvageable condition to reopen. Even a few months with not running a lift or maintaining it is bad for the lift. I agree that it’s unfortunate, but it isn’t really their fault.

        Parts may not have been a problem. Skytrans has already rebuilt the drive once, they could have done it again.
