Eco-terrorism. People didn’t like the environmental impact of this lift, but still, it’s not right to do that. I hope they find that guy and charge him or her lots of money.
I’ve never fully understood, what is the true environmental impact of a lift like this? Not looking for a pro/con argument, just a factual assessment of the impact.
Not much since what is removed is then used either to build the valley terminal or is used at biomass power plants. Every lift project today or most will reclaim what is removed. What isn’t is generally placed as burn piles if the area is inaccessible by car or truck like at ski resorts.
Does anyone know if they have parc rails?
Seems to me the simplest solution would be to install a totally automatic Doopelmayr parc rail system and then have the lift spin all night long

This is sad if you hate this lift then to bad don’t vandalize because you hate it life is not fair lots of things you don’t want will happen so now you decide to take matters in your own hand? That’s not cool so not cool

this lift seams to be built in an environmentally conscious way, just look at the minimal soil disturbance around the tower foundations

Without the incident, I think they do a great job preserving this lift. Then again, no skiers come and ruin the cabins with their poles and boots

They now continuously run the line 24/7 and park all cabins
