Three lifts running in parallel is pretty funky. That Doppelmayr T-bar looks so modern compared to the other lifts.

Midwestern ski areas, with their typically aging lifts, have so much character.

What a funky layout. With 3, quad Skytracs (or any used fixed grip quad) this mountain could be simplified incredibly easily. Surely the savings of staffing that many lifts would at least partially offset the costs of new lifts. Similar to the fleet reduction that Granite Peak and Snowriver have/are going through, without detaches to destroy the budget

I just don’t think Brule, or most U.P. ski hills for that matter, bring in the money to pull off lift replacements, especially with even fixed grips costing millions and the past few winters being pretty rough. I think the best bet for most of these hills is to find some 80’s/90’s/00’s CTEC, Riblet or Poma lifts from out west/east and relocate them in, but even that might be too expensive for some.

They run the 3 Halls most of the time, the Mueller Lifts usually run when its busier, the T-Bars seem pretty much redundant at this point they do not look like they have been open in a long time. I noticed all the lifts had just had a stop and start for the outside controls, no speed control. All pretty old school but it still works.
