I’ve noticed on early 80’s/90’s trail maps, the Buckeye Platter is listed as a T-Bar. Did the Piney T-Bar move to the front of the mountain when it was replaced with the Triple Chair?

Here’s your three-year-later reply- yes, the former Piney T-bar moved to become Buckeye in ’83, and they converted it to a platter in ’93-94-ish.

So… seems like they’re looking to put a detachable up the frontside as early as this year?

Vail tends to keep their lifts, but Comstock and Silverlode are both very close to that 1200′ vertical over 5300′ mark.

It wouldn’t be this year. They’d have to get a bunch of work done and refurbish the new used lift. If they can get one this summer I’d expect it next year. Interesting news, though.
