Skyfari – Henry Doorly Zoo, NE

This 14 tower lift is one of the longer zoo chairlifts in the United States.
This lift opened in 2009 as part of a zoo expansion.
Riders can load and unload at either end.
The Hall ski lift has been modified with a new compact drive setup.

Riding over the rhinoceros exhibit.
The lift goes down in elevation before heading back up another small hill.

      Skytrans buys old lifts from various manufacturers. Hall is one of the ones they apparently seek out. They seem to like Heron-Poma and Stadeli as well. The lifts are broken up for parts which are sold along with some new parts to build a complete lift. I think pretty much every Skytrans installation has parts from multiple removed lifts.

        Further, even their lifts built from scratch these days have used chairs.
