This Riblet triple services the southern summit at Caberfae Peaks.Riblet drive-tension station.Side view of the loading station.Counterweight pit and motor room.Riding up the lift line.View back down near the summit.Arriving at the return.Top bullwheel.Lower lift line.Departing the bottom station.Riblet fixed return terminal. The last few towers.
I noticed about 20 percent of the tabs are new, then I noticed the cable looks new too, anyone know? They keep this lift well maintained, bet they are happy they did it with tab failures elsewhere recently including some serious injuries at Indianhead.
I don’t think the vertical climb in the chart is right for South Peak. South Peak lift has 74 chairs total, compared to 66 chairs on each of the two North Peak lifts, and it is a steeper hill.
Riblet chairs connect to the cable via a tab that is twisted into the haul line, where most other brands use a clamp. They didn’t replace the haul line, BTW.
Vista has a 485′ vertical, South Peak is something like 475′ but I’m trying to get an official number on that. Not sure why the data here is so off, maybe based on the original geography.

He probably means the insert clips.

Terminology – Riblet’s connection to the “haul rope” is via a “clip”, not a tab.
