This lift was originally built for the Olympics at Whistler Creekside before being relocated to Sunshine.Bottom terminal.Doppelmayr CTEC Uni-GS station.Riding up.Tower 6.Upper section of the line.Tower 10 approaching the top.View down the line.Support tower.Another view of the line.Top station side view.Another view of the return terminal.
It is possible to have terminals switched during re-installation. With modifications as needed. I am guessing they did this because the power source was at the bottom of the lift.
Few years late here. When relocating a lift, you can rebuild it however you want (within reason, of course). We (Copper, that is- I was at a different mountain that year) took down I-lift in 1994 and converted it from a bottom drive-and-tension configuration to a top-drive, bottom -tension setup as Blackjack lift. It’s absolutely possible to flip ends.
Am I the only one who gets this lift and Snowbasin’s second gondola mixed up?

This happened with Harmony 4 when it was moved to Blackcomb to become Crystal Ridge.

A bit weird riding this lift when all of Sunshine’s other major lifts are Poma with the exception of TPLX. Also one of the few UNI-GS’s in Canada.

While in the terminal, you can see the DT grip closing in front of you. Cool!

Looking at SSV posts, it seems Strawberry is getting a new paint scheme: black and red, should be cooler than green
