This lift is not the most reliable lift, it breaks down quite often leaving people to use the mountain top triple. Also, small children have a very hard time with the loading gates and the chair kit carpet besides that, this lift was a massive upgrade to the summit triple.
The drive station is poorly thought out. Melting snow dripped dead center along the conveyor loading. Around 2021, Berkshire East tacked on a sheetmetal “awning” to mitigate the issue.
I’ve been to Berkshire east once, this lift had a 20 minute line out to the wilderness quad. I’m now hoping that I can go here again without that line with the new high speed summit lift.

We have the same problem with the new quad at Pats Peak. That, and scary falling ice. I’m told that the solution will be something similar.
