This lift came from Okemo a year or two before Jackson Gore summit lift became a bubble. The FGQ which it replaced also came from Okemo. The “bubbling” of the Okemo was only adding bubbles to existing carriers or adding new carriers with bubbles. They removed a few chairs to the total because of the added weight of the bubbles.
This lift was Okemo’s first detach which replaced the red poma. It was installed there in 1992 and crossed the river about 8 years ago, IIRC. It celebrates its 30th birthday this year.
It actually replaced the northeast triple which then was moved to become the morning star triple. The northeast triple replaced the red poma and was one of a very few alpha terminal prototypes.

Wrong, the Sunburst Six was an original bubble chair with all new components. The Quantum 4/ Evergreen was a retrofit.

The previous Sunbowl, a Poma quad with a REALLY COOL bottom terminal, also came from Okemo as well! South Face actually.
