Looking down the line.Top terminal and breakover towers.Bottom tension return. Why have one lift shack when you can have two?Motor room from above.Another view of the top.Three towers with two tower tubes.Looking down from the unload ramp.
A few reasons why this lift was removed was due to lack of ridership, mainly because you could ski to the terrain this lift serviced faster by riding up the Lookout Express. In addition, after the new gondola was installed, there was no reason for it to be a third backup lift if Lookout Express went down.
There was a short lived Riblet double that preceded this lift. It was removed and sold to 49 Degrees North WA when this lift went in. It’s still operating there as Silverlode
How come this lift was removed?
