Both terminals are very unique CTEC designs with four legs each.

For the 2019 season, this lift will be replaced with a Leitner-Poma high speed six pack, with the LPA grips and LPA chairs. The Sunnyside Express will improve the egress flow of traffic from Parsenn Bowl and cut the ride time down from 8 minutes to 4 minutes.

(Curiously, it still leaves things to where there are no high speed six packs in the Winter Park section of the mountain. They’re all relegated to the southeast part of the mountain in the Mary Jane/Parsenn Bowl area.)

Yeah they should replace the Olympia Express with a 6 pack.

I have a 1990’s sign that I believe was to advertise this lift. I’m having a hard time finding any info though. Maybe some seasoned skiers will recognize it. The sign says “The Lift” picture of a guy skiing with Mary Jane printed on the helmet. I bought from estate sale in Northern Colorado.

No. At least not as a whole. Looks like it was parted out. Which is a shame.

The Drive Building is currently in the Zips storage, with its Tension pump, AUX engine, Gear Box, Service Brake and control cabinet. They want to get rid of it they just don’t know who to give it to.

No. They are going to sell the lift to another resort or use it around the mountain.

They only sold 60 chairs. But i was talking to the COO of the resort and he said that the chairs and towers will replace looking glass.

I’m guessing the terminals will likely be going with it as part of this relocation.

Here is what I heard when I was at Winter Park; they said that they were not re-using the lift and 100 chairs were sold to the public. The other chairs would be going to employees and the rest of the would be used for parts at Alterra Mountains. I was very lucky to get a chair and I also got some sheaves as well.

The old drive terminal is in the Zips storage area, which can be seen from Jack Kendrick. I went up to it last summer on my bike, and it appears that everything is still in it except the electric motor. APU, Tension system, Controls, Service brake, Gearbox are all still in there and the bullwheel is still on it.
