Looks like both terminals are the LPA models where the entire terminal moves. Since both stations are 90 degree load/unload, how does that work with the ramps?
It doesn’t really affect the top terminal. Yes, it moves, but it’s what we call ‘passive tension’ meaning we have to manually reposition it. The active end, at the bottom, doesn’t move that much during normal operation so while the chair and the ramp may not be exactly aligned, it’s usually not enough to worry about. We’ve had to move our bottom ramp on Excelerator a few times over the years, but it’s not too often.

The real difference between the two is that Casper has older Omega chairs, and this has the current LPA chair model.

What’s the need for 2 diesel engine backup drives as opposed to one?

If you only have one, you can’t continue loading on it. Just unload and shut down. There has to be a backup to continue loading.

I’m curious- how do lifties like the touchscreens? Is that preferred to physical controls?
