Why does this lift not have footrests?

Every resort has different preferences over which lifts get footrests.

In general, I’ve taken to noticing that the number of high speed quads with footrests can vary from state to state. For instance, in Colorado, almost every high speed quad and six pack has footrests and there are only eight that don’t (the ones that don’t are the Gemini Express, Eskimo Express and Prospector Express at Winter Park, the Elkhead Express and Christie Peak Express at Steamboat, the Kokomo Express at Copper Mountain, Coney Glade at Snowmass, and Charity Jane Express at Wolf Creek). In California, things are slightly more mixed so there’s many instances of resorts where some high speed quads have footrests and others don’t. (At Northstar, for instance, Village Express and Martis Camp have footrests but none of their other detachables do)

It’s only 4 min long. No need.

My cousin fell of the chair coming out of the bottom terminal but the lift operator was on his phone the resorts should in force no phones while operating the lift because if I had not yelled at the lift operator my cousin would have been hit by the chair. although it was still pretty funny not going to lie and the lift is a good lift

Which one is the drive? Both captions show return terminals.

Probably the top, as that is the case for most lifts.

Bottom terminal is listed as the Drive in first photo.
