This is the only chair me and my dad have been on without safety bars? with us being from NY this is very strange. This was the main chair I was at. I think later n they installed safety bars on this thing? Where’s the lift now and so glad its gone?
A Thiokol vault drive!? Wow… Haven’t seen one of those before.

I can’t think of any other existing Thiokol vault drives but the removed North West Triple at West Mountain, NY (also built in 1971) had pretty much the same terminals as this lift:
