How do they operate this? Are there controls in the cabin, or is there a control panel on each of the terminals that they will press to call the tram over and take them to the other terminal? I doubt that it gets enough traffic to justify both of the terminals being manned during work hours.

Maybe like an elevator, E-stop and call button in the cabin, but otherwise controlled from the terminals, after all, there are only two terminals.

By the way, is this the lower dam or the upper one? Also, this is probably going to get removed in 2048 when Tacoma Power is terminated of the right to operate the dam in an agreement with the native tribes.

Another North American appearance of the classic (admittedly terrible) Stratton/Whistler gondola cabin!
