This Borvig triple came used from Shawnee Mountain.Loading area and motor room.View up the line.Middle part of the ride.Part of this tower came new from Partek.Upper part of the lift ride.Arriving up top.Unloading ramp. The top terminal is situated between three other lift stations.Lower half of the line. The first few towers.Side view of the drive station.Unique Borvig grip design.
This lift was originally the Arrowhead lift at Shawnee. It was first built in 1975 as a double chair, one of the mountain’s original lifts. In 1988, it was converted to a triple by replacing the drive, chairs, and tower heads. I believe the return structure was also new, but reused the old bullwheel. In 2010, it was replaced by a Partek Quad that was originally on the Tomahawk slope and was replaced by a detachable. It was relocated here in 2011.
