    If I recall correctly, the switch to LP Omega carriers was done in the early 2010s. When I skied here in the mid/late 2000s, the original Borvig chairs were still on the line.

    Was the drive terminal skin made by BM Lifts, Borvig, the ski area (to match the BM quad), or somebody/something else?

    what’s the story behind this lift? The triple was definitely a relocation but there isn’t too much information on where it came from or when it was installed at Snow Valley

      Not a relocation. Newspaper archives indicate that it was a new install in 1990.

        although for some reason the drive terminal, towers, and original chairs on this lift were similar to several Borvig lifts from the late seventies (Tamarack at Stratton has/had similar equipment to this lift). Also the SAM lift construction survey doesn’t have this lift on it. Perhaps this was the last lift to use that specific style of equi

          What year did Borvig go out of business and become Partek. Could it be possible they had some of this equipment lying around from an unfinished lift or cancelled order and decided to install it here? I think Partek did that a couple times when it was first starting, there are a couple Partek lifts which used old Borvig equipment they still had.

      It was a relocation from Horseshoe Valley and installed in its current location in 1990.
