I spent a lot of time skiing/racing/training here in my college days in the early 2000s.

Little Bear – was built in 2002 or 2003, replacing a surface lift on the beginner area. I believe it was techically a new-build Partek lift, not Borvig.

Utah – is a Borvig lift, and from what I was told my employees/patrol was that is was supposedly a “frankenstein” lift; that it was originally a triple chair from somewhere in Vermont and relocated to Tussey and reconfigured with quad chairs. The lift had issues with chair clearance from the towers, and could not run at full speed. There was a lift accident with chairs sliding down the line a few years ago.

T-Bar – rarely used as they don’t generally make snow under the lift line. I think I rode it 1-2 times in the 6 years I was there. The T-Bar line was more fun to poach for skiing powder and/or at night as it was unlit.
