It was the T-Bar that more or less followed the alignment of the Strawberry chair. I know someone at Mt. Maichen who confirmed this fact to me.
There were 2 Hall T-Bars at Sunshine, both built around the same time. The Wawa T-Bar (not this lift) was retrofitted by Doppelmayr until it was removed and relocated to Silver Star, BC.
Yes, that’s the original Standish chair in the background. This photo was taken before the 1960’s Hall upgrade on the Standish chair was completed, well before the Assiniboine T-Bar was installed.
Assiniboine was a Doppelmayr T-Bar that was effectively replaced with the Great Divide Express. Assiniboine served the lower 1/3, while the Great Divide chair served the upper 2/3 of the mountain. It now operates at Kimberly as the Owl T-Bar.

This is one of 2 Hall T-Bars with Doppelmayr Tees, the other was the now retired West Bowl at Sun Peaks but that one had Doppelmayr Sheave Wheel mods
