How do people get access to ski here? Is it a membership?

Interesting how they are going for a fixed grip triple now for their new lift instead of a bubble quad

I think it’s great! Not everything needs to be high speed. Or have bubbles.

618 is an extremely long lift with some very steep sections. Almost 9000 feet long and holds 200 bubble chairs rivaling the Flyer over at Copper. Chairs have Leather seats, custom logos, seat heating and bubbles. Word is they cost up to $20K per chair. #11 is very steep as it goes up to the top of Jacob’s Ridge. #11 also didn’t open until the last day of the season and was only open for scenic rides and tours. The lift that is being built, #2 will start right next to the bottom of 618 and run lookers right where it will meet with other proposed lifts. 618 has 30 towers while 11 has 17.

What I do know is that it’s similar to Loveland’s new Lift 6, which was built that same year.

Not that I’ve found. Just a standard LPA fixed grip with an Alpha terminal. Starts at the bottom of 618 and runs up A.O.K. to the right of. Super short lift.

On the terminal sidings for chair 1, the lifts name is 618. For chair 3 its 11. These refer to old train lines and engines within the Wasatch and Utah. 618 was an old engine, and 11 was named after another engine which was referred to as “Tooele Valley 11”. However, on their mountain report, the names “618” and “11” are no longer listed. Chair 1/618 is now listed at the Diamond Peak lift, and Chair 3/11 is listed as the Jacobs Ridge lift.

I saw these lifts as I drove by. It’s south of Snowbasin. What splits them is a valley so technically they are right next to each other

It’s not much but better than nothing. Updated google maps shows the new 4CLD-B from last summer as well as the construction of the two new lifts this summer. The new 4CLD-B looks like just a lift to service ski-in ski-out homes on the north side of the ski area and the new gondola appears to connect the base of the ski area to what appears to be a developing village (which is also where you can see the new golf course starts). Not gonna lie, this place looks pretty awesome.
