I believe this lift formerly operated as Summit at Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire. It was replaced in 2012 with Ascutney’s former G-CTEC high speed quad.
Yes it did. At Crotched, this lift had safety bars and foot rests, but they weren’t used here. Vail’s corporate policy is safety bars on every lift, so it will have safety bars again soon.
I believe that before this lift was at Crotched, it was installed at Cherokee as the “B” Quad. It only lasted a few seasons there before being moved to Crotched as “Summit”.
