This lift came from Crotched. It was the original Summit Quad, built in 1987. When the mountain closed in 1992, it was sold to Jiminy Peak and installed as this lift. It was intended to provide better access to expert terrain and a shorter ride compared to the Exhibition double chair. Since the Berkshire Express was built, it has only been used during peak times and when the Berkshire Express is on hold for maintenance or weather.

The Summit Triple almost never runs now (Q1 is the primary backup since Summit actually ends downhill to the side of the summit).
