The old Hummingbird double was a Riblet. It was last on a skimap of 1997, removed by 2003.

Re-posting this image of Hummingbird, for some reason Whitewater no longer has it on their main website:

Are there images of the terminals? I would imagine it would be like the old Summit.

It was replaced in 1997 by the Hummer handle tow to facilitate beginner access, as a double is not the best for first timers.

However, I don’t know for sure, it’s possible the lift was left standing for a while as it extended higher up than its replacement. It originally served as access to the t-bar, but the Silver King chair starts at the base, making access easier.

Does anyone know if Whitewater is selling the old Silver King chairs, or if it’s being relocated?

It will remain in service for the time being.

Have they ever considered a lift from the base to the top of hummingbird peak? It would serve some great terrain.

Whitewater is really focusing on expanding on Qua basin, also I think there is too much Avalanche risks and exposed rock or cliffs on Hummingbird peak

Does anyone know what happened to the T-bar or Hummingbird chair? The website lists that they sold the t-bar, but what happened to the chair?
