on google earth there is clear evidence of an old lift going from next to alberta to just northwest of alberta peak and you can even see a bullwheel on the ground but it doesn’t appear on any map i can find

There’ve been some proposed lifts off in that area. Of them, only Elma and Charity Jane have been built.

I would have pass either a quad or a HSQ because it is close to the base area and because of traffic. I would have Sunset either as a triple, quad or HSQ because of traffic from Alberta and Charity Jane and also because it would service intermediate/advanced terrain which is popular. Storm only needs a triple or a quad because it services only advanced terrain.

Here’s the coordinates to the bullwheel. If you zoom out, you can see what looks like a lift line cut from the bottom of alberta to the coordinates.
        37° 27′ 38.97″, -106° 48′ 6.87″

Raven and Charity Jane are weird spots to have built HSQs in. Raven is just a shorter version of Bonanza and was Wolf Creek’s first ever detachable (before Treasure Stoke even). Charity Jane is a beginner area/expert egress in the absolute middle of nowhere isolated from the rest of the resort’s beginner terrain. Questionable decisions when Alberta is a mile long fixed grip.

Have you skied Wolf Creek? Its mostly beginners who ski it using Raven Elma Nova and Charity. Expert lifts are longer and most cases fixed grip, powder stays longer

The master plan does propose a high speed quad for Bonanza, although it is an admittedly ten year old master plan.
