Two parallel surface lifts service this small riverside ski area. The older of the two was built by Timberland-Ellicott.Breakover towers. This lift has much wider tower spacing than the one next door.Drive terminal.Lift overview.Tower 2.A half tower.Side view of the top station.Upper station overview.
My dad used to own this ski hill. When he installed the first lift, the concrete base for the bottom tower was actually partially poured in the water. The shore has obviously gained on the river over the 55+ years since it was installed. The top tower, at that time, was on the edge of the forest as there was no street or houses there. The ski lodge was at the bottom of the hill and most people crossed the river to come ski. The second lift was added must later. It replaces a rope tow my dad had built. That second lift came from Mont Lac Vert I believe when they replace the surface lift by a fix quad chair.
