Any idea where this lift came from? With CTEC sheaves, added lifting frames, and a modified lower terminal from the original Hall design (overhead drive, so likely 1975 or after), it definitely had some new work done. I had previously found an article from the Akron Beacon Journal that said it came from an area in Utah, but that makes very little sense based on my research, and I can’t find that article anymore.
I believe all three of the lifts at Clear Fork are still standing. This lift was installed in 2013 and Clear Fork closed around 2015 to my knowledge. I would guess this a VonRoll rather than a Hall, VonRoll sheaves look sort of similar to CTEC sheaves and have similar lifting frames. As to where this lift came from, could it be the Center triple from Hyland Hills removed in 2012?
I think you nailed it! Timeframe of removal from Hyland Hills and stats of the original installation are perfect. The other recently-removed Von Roll triple from Hyland also had the exact same drive terminal design with the back frame for the hydraulic tension. You are also right about the sheave design for Von Rolls a few years after the Hall purchase. The only small question marks are the lifting frame design and if the hydraulic tension was part of the original design or retrofitted at some point (I found some 1990 Von Rolls at Silver Mountain, ID that still had counterweights), but this is definitely the most plausible history of this lift.
Compare this to Cascade Basin (https://liftblog.com/cascade-basin-pats-peak-nh/) at Pat’s Peak, NH (where I learned to ski!), as that is a Von Roll installed by SkyTrac with a Partek motor room. However, the sheaves on that machine look different from their counterparts on this one.

Could it have come from the defunct Clear Fork in Mansfield?
