Alpine Training Venue – Killington, VT

This lift was relocated from Snowdon Mountain to service a more secluded race venue on Ramshead Mountain in 2018.

    I rode this lift today. Although it is technically reserved for racers only, the liftie let me on with no issue. I’m glad I got to ride such a historic lift!

    Looks like some of the tower heads/sheave assemblies came from the old Mountain Poma at Burke Mountain

    Pretty crazy that a 60 year old poma is still finding a use, is this the oldest lift to be relocated in the 21st century?

    It is a private lift for race crews/local racer training at this point in time. Never open to the public so it kinda makes sense to remove it from the website.
