      As per the report, I’m sure they have an evacuation plan in place and it includes using San Diego Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team and the San Diego Lifeguards Boats as part of the plan.

    If you did not know, this lift replaced a pulse gondola. I do not know the company.

    Chances are that gondola was built by Hopkins. Hopkins built a lot of amusement park lifts.

          Was it a different capacity or something? I wouldn’t see a reason to replace it unless it was that old or that they just modernized it.

          Everything I’ve seen indicates this is the original lift. It was built only a couple years after SeaWorld was founded, I find it unlikely that it replaced anything.
