Depending on how they do, I really hope the new owners do something with this lift in the coming years. It could use some upgrades and a full blown replacement. I have seen so many people, especially snowboarders have trouble loading with the center pole chairs. I personally don’t have trouble with them but they can be a little irritating.
i feel like not all snowboarders really know how to board a center pole: my aunt has snowboarded since she was young and she grew up on center poles and that’s why she learned how to ride one. I think the snowboarders just need to keep trying and experiment with different body positions to figure out which one is best for boarding a center pole. u can become a natural at those lifts if you practice long enough. And i know this is true cause my aunt is really good at boarding these center poles after years of practice.

I feel like the solution to any snowboard-specific problem is to ski. That’s my two very worn-out pennies.
