This lift ran at a decent speed when it first opened this year, but has been slowed to a crawl for the rest of the season. Loading isn’t very efficient either, chairs are never filled and it stops every 12 seconds, being the beginner lift. This year it takes much longer to get on Boyneland than the Mountain Express on busy days, and the ride is 3x as long. A huge improvement from the triple (especially the alignment & chair comfort), but Mountain Express is still the far better option for people just looking to get to D8 or Ramshead

How come Boyne Resorts never uses the puck footrests on their new fixed grip chairlifts and instead uses the individual handlebars?

I just realized that the Alpenstar kinda looks like the UNI-GS.
