Among the two Boyne Michigan resorts, this is the only Borvig lift. This beginner lift passes mostly through forest.Looking up the line.Lower lift line.Drive station.Loading area and lift line.Arriving at the return with Disciples Ridge in the background.Top bullwheel.Lift line seen from above.
This is a relocated lift and used to be a double instead of a triple. It used to be the Super 2 that ran up the McClouth slopes and removed when the Mountain Express 6 was installed in 1992. Reinstalled when Boyne Mountain added their Boyneland beginner area in 1995.
Almost….It was formerly the Super 2 lift that ran up the middle of the Superbowl slope. Its original location was in Knoxville and ran down the length of the 1982 Worlds Fair.
The Old North Boyne and Express Chairs (Heron) were scrapped, the former McClouth quad was moved to Victor to replace the @ place Heron there in 1990

Are the chairs retrofitted Riblets with Borvig hanger arms and grips?

I think so. Those chairs are definitely riblets, and it doesn’t look like riblet grips.
