those don’t seem like the traditional Thiokol/CTEC towers..

Timberline at Powder has the exact same style of towers. I would assume that this is an early model Thiokol because all Thiokols that were installed past 1972 had the classic Thiokol towers.

They say the lift was installed around 1976 which would have been the last year that Thiokol built lifts before the transition over to CTEC.. But even the CTEC towers on the lifts they built for the first 8-10 years or so looked almost if not the same as the Thiokol towers.

This lift is SBNO, at least this year. It’s missing some sheave trains, the haul rope is hung below the towers where they are missing, and all the chairs are off the line above the top terminal.

I think this is because Nordic had planned to replace this lift’s haul rope. I’m not sure why, but this replacement has been rescheduled for this coming spring. I’m not sure why the chairs would be off the line, maybe they didn’t get a chance to re-hang them after postponing the haul rope replacement?

I knew by seeing the webcams that the sheaves were in a derailed position
