Impressed by the kid who kicked his soccer ball into the gondola turnaround, but why is this lift labeled as Haymeadow Express on the website when everything on the gondola identifies it as Buckaroo Express?
To make it easier for beginners to load and unload (they take longer to get their act together). It is also a short lift so there is no need to run it fast and put unnecessary wear on the components.
With how long this lift is, I’m surprised they did not go for a 3S system here, especially at a resort as premium as beaver creek? Yea, definitely very disappointed, a measly detachable gondola is not enough for this line.

In the summer of 2018, Beaver Creek changed the name to Haymeadow Express

The URL still says buckaroo instead of haymeadow.

It’s probably impossible to change that without breaking a lot of URLs on other pages.

The design speed is 800 fpm but they only run it at 600 fpm because it is so short.

why do they even need a gondola here? wouldn’t it make more sense just to make multiple lift for beginners rather than one gondola?

Kids can’t fall out of gondolas. Whole ski school classes can ride up together.
