I skied calabogie every weekend growing up, it’s a good little mountain when it’s snowing and skis like a Michigan mountain when it’s bad.
A cool feature of both lifts is that ski competitions happen under both. Solar quad’s first section before the tree line hosts mogul competitions (and occasionally races) and Lakeview has purely racing. Both liftlines are rarely skiable, it takes a lot of snow to open the section under the top part of lakeview, very rocky.
