My wife was crushed when they replaced this. She was weekend foreman for four winters in the late nineties. I myself maintained it for five, and I thought it was a solid machine.
The lift was getting old, and they were having trouble finding parts for it. Like the Pallivicini lift at A-basin, it handled crowds just fine, it was just getting old.

Why did they replace it anyway? Seems wasteful to replace a quad with a quad.
