Custom-made drive terminal with Riblet line gear and SLI chairs.Side view of the bottom station. This lift was relocated, likely from Crystal Mountain, WA.View down the line.View from the summit.Top bullwheel.Old-style Riblet tower flipped upside-down.View from the parking lot.
Old chair 5 at Crystal had SLI chairs. I think it had some Riblet business going on as well. I was sad when It left because the Downhill/K2 Face side skied better without having to skate down Cattle Crossing.
I wonder if the rest of this lift is from Mt. Pilchuck’s old Yellow Jacket lift?
Crystal did purchase it when Pilchuck shut down, but they never did anything with it. And it did have the old V-style tower heads from the late 50s/early 60s.
