When it’s time to replace this lift they should replace it with a high speed six or a 8 person gondola because of the lineups on busy days

As the main lift out of the base, this should stay a chairlift no matter what replaces it.

I don’t think the two really busy weeks a year (Christmas & New Years) can justify an 8 person gondola, let alone the wind holds we get with the chair. Any other week during the year and there is never a line with the exception of first chair in the morning. A twin to powder seeker @ Big Sky would be ideal on that line, though.

I think a D-Line 6 pack without bubbles like the new peaked lift will have will work here.

Good idea but I think they need to add the peaked mtn lift first

The parking issue needs to be addressed. Sounds like construction on the peaked lift started already.

Pretty sure this runs faster than 1000 fpm. Was there yesterday and it was really zooming. Also this and Sacajewea have been repainted dark green all over and the towers on this are now grey.
