Borvig never made a drive terminal quite like this, nor did they ever try to hide the counterweight the way Mueller did. The bullwheels are also very similar except for the Borvig swing guard. Everything except for the drive terminal looks to be 100% Borvig.
I have a feeling that Black probably was in the process of installing this as a Mueller lift, then something happened and Borvig finished it (assuming only the drive terminal had been partly completed and nothing else, hence the Borvig chairs, towers, return, and sheaves).
I personally think this was going to be a mueller triple, but due to a falling out between Black Mtn and mueller, borvig was called in to finish the lift.
Is it just me or is that bottom drive unit not a Borvig and rather a Muller drive, like this lift was modified at some point.

It definitely looks like a mueller drive

It’s Borvig. I’m not sure what you think looks like Mueller.

Nah, it looks way more like a mueller drive.

I’ve ridden this lift and it is, in fact, a Borvig drive. The only Mueller chairlift built there still operates as the Summit Double.

The drive terminal on this lift is part Mueller.
Here’s a 1979 Mueller for comparison:

that counterweight really gives off the fact that it has to be a mueller

Correct! Mueller went out of business during construction, with only the drive constructed (not sure about the towers).

I was also thinking of Powder when I saw this terminal. It makes total sense because black runs other mueller lifts.
