Village lifts have been closed for decades. The litigation between Elk and the Village is also decades old. Can’t ski from mtn to village. In fact anyone with a village address was fired and barred from buying a season pass. A soap opera you can’t even believe.
They have been fighting over stuff tit for tat for decades. The ownership of Elk did not like the Villages.
Years ago Elk wanted to develop some land to the east of the ski area, but needed road access through the villages. They’ve fought over access to adjacent property, land rights, sewer lines, water rights / snowmaking.

I looked it up on google maps and found it. Wonder if it’s someone’s private lift? Doesn’t look like it has much vertical.
