Does anyone know if that lighting pole at the top terminal was originally one of the old Poma’s towers?

It most likely came from old chair 3, which went from east of the current bottom terminal up towards where Holiday Cliff finished. The old detach Poma platter was a blast- I recall being 5 and getting pulled off the ground because I wasn’t heavy enough to extend the spring!

The lighting Pole looks to me like an early Riblet tower. With some components missing, it could look like a Poma tower. Since White Pass has never had a Poma chairlift, it would make sense that this would be a Riblet

They actually had a Poma platter that went to the top of this very hill. There are still 2 towers standing lower down on the mountain for lighting, but I’m not sure if this top one was also part of the Poma.

Kinda interesting that Garaventa CTEC built two lifts called Far East in the same year.
