Anyone know why the Face Lift handle tow was removed without replacement? Might it have been due to underutilization or harsh weather conditions in the exposed area it served?
I wish the lift was still operating now. There is some great powder at the bottom of the steep chutes from Currie Bowl. Probably closed due to it being a handle tow.
I once asked the resort’s billionaire owned Murray Edwards this shortly after it was removed. He turned to me and said “kid, it’s losing me money.” Saddest realization that day, learning that Billionaire owners suck.
Where is the other lift with a diesel drive? I cant find it.
