Okay, should have thought that over. I don’t really think it’s beautiful, but it’s honestly really cool. For whatever reason, I just really like the look of old lifts. And the mix of new components makes it look sharper.
For me the it’s how it is maintained. Most lifts can look brand new with a paint job and some new windows. It’s the lifts with faded/chipping paint that look ugly to me.
In the 4th picture the description says ” Top Drive Poma Alpha” when the drive is Leitner-Poma Alpha.

Irrelevant, even by lift nerd standards.

The caption would be correct as the Alpha was developped by Poma, not L-P.

Probably the most crucial lift at Ajax. Without it, you’d have take Spar Gulch to Schuss Gully, and ride Shadow Mountain to get to Ruthies.

You can’t show me an LPA double or triple that isn’t beautiful.

That is still a beautiful lift.

Totally agree with you @WH2OSHREDDER, Campground is a beautiful lift, even with the mix of new and use parts.

The Alpha has to be my favorite fixed grip lift product of all manufacturers, especially the newest ones.

Fair point. Still could use some touch-ups, though

Not very beautiful, but it still looks cool IMO.
