    Was the Omega already out? Most poma detachables I’ve seen from this era were Competition/Challenger (I can’t remember which). This must have been one of the first.

      No sixes were build with those terminals. Quicksilver at Breck is a ’97 poma omega, vail also has 4 late 90’s poma detachable omega quads on Blue sky basin.

    This lift’s unloading ramp is too early and starts when the lift is still slowing down into the terminal. Because of this, you can unload faster if you unload early.

        Ragged NH’s six-pack (Poma Omega, very similar to this lift) also has a long ramp that starts before the chair finishes decelerating. I think it has a lot to do with the tensioning at the top terminal requiring the ramp to be long enough to allow for tension travel (on terminals of this size, the entire terminal moves).

        Cannon’s detachable also has a wicked long ramp for some reason despite having a Stealth II terminal (not to complain – unloading at 75% rope speed works fine). This tends to happen on some Uni-S detachables too just because the terminal is so short.

    This lift definitely needs a capacity upgrade, maybe 3000 like big blue. It and big blue are pretty much the only way for beginners to get out of gold coast.

    When did they lower the top terminal? this lift used to land on top of two levels of stacked of shipping containers.

    They removed the containers many years ago and re-graded the terminal area. Finished off with rip rap. Containers were temporary because of a environmental fight with county etc.
