Top station with stub rail.Like all lifts at Mammoth, the terminals are height adjustable.Lift line.Upper part of the line.Doppelmayr EJ chairs with DT-104 grips.Middle part of the line. This one could be called Roller Coaster too.Lower station next to Stump Alley Express.Bottom station.Load terminal at The Mill.View up the line from the base.Riding up the line.View back down.Doppelmayr Worldbook entry.
What’s up with all of the olive drab grey colored terminals at Mammoth? The original green color shown in the worldbook is much prettier and better suited to the alpine environment.
Yeah, green looks nicer. Especially when paired with gray. (I remember how Keystone’s detachables used to have green terminals and towers, then went to silver towers and beige terminals, then they changed the terminals back to green beginning in 2011) Really, I prefer any lift color that isn’t dull, as brighter colors age better in my book.
The amount of snow in these photos is amazing. 4th photo from the top shows what looks to be a fairly short 4/4 combo tower. Look closely and right above the tower pad is the flange for a double sectioned tower.

Of course Peter has no idea or is just too aloof to respond to your question.

Dude, why the Peter hate. Just because he is from Mercer Island doesn’t mean he is aloof.
