Heavenly – Devil’s Glen, ON

This is the longest lift at Devil’s Glen.
View down the line at tower 7.
A Hall double used to run in this alignment.
Leitner-Poma Alpha drive station.
Lift overview.
Blacked out drive terminal.
Looking up the line from the base.
Combination assemblies on tower 2.
Middle section of the lift line.
Upper lift line at tower 9.
Arriving at the summit.
Unloading area and fixed return bullwheel.
Looking down at T8.
At one point the line goes quite high above the ground for Ontario.

Extremely impressed that you managed to get recent pics of all of lifts at all of the Collingwood-area private ski clubs. How did you pull that off?

Peter is very creative. After he got Osler Bluff, Craigleith and Mansfield in mid January, he posted a note on Liftblog asking for any Members or employees at the other four remaining: Devils Glen, Georgian Peaks, Alpine and Beaver Valley to contact him. Devils Glen got done because a Member offered to sign him in for the day. The others were done with industry connections, some of them dating many years (former Dopplemayr or Leitner Poma employees etc). I met up with Peter on the day he did Alpine. Unfortunate that the day Peter was at Devil’s Glen it was so stormy. Beautiful place.
