The patrol carrier is pretty cool. I think at Mineral Basin at snowbird, they attach it to the bar or something. Since Mineral Basin is the only way out, they must have a way to attach the toboggans.
They attach it to the back of a chair with some kind of hooks, I didn’t get a super close look when I saw it They stop the lift for a minute or 2 to load and unload.

The only chairlift I’ve ever ridden that had no restraining bar at all.
